Week 24: Jesuit Residence
More than 50 Jesuits live in the Jesuit Residence, also known as the Jes Res. Built in 1916, the four-story structure was originally the Stratford Arms Hotel. Marquette University bought the hotel in 1962 and converted it into Heraty Hall, a women’s residence hall. After further renovation in 1973, the red-bricked building became the Jesuit Residence.
